Taiwanese stock ETFs are entering their peak dividend payout period. Including the popular Fubon Taiwan High Dividend Yield ETF (00919) and the actively managed Uni-President Taiwan Growth ETF (00981A), a total of 14 ETFs will go ex-dividend today (the 16th), with mixed performance.
00919 is a popular high dividend yield ETF, with its latest number of beneficiaries reaching 1.314 million, ranking 4th in the number of beneficiaries for Taiwanese stock ETFs. 00919 went ex-dividend today, distributing NT$1 per unit, a significant increase from the NT$0.78 distributed in March this year. This marks the second consecutive quarter of increased dividends and a new record high for its historical payouts.
Today, the ex-dividend reference price for 00919 was NT$29.69. During trading, its stock price surged to a high of NT$30.05, achieving a 36% fill rate. The stock closed at NT$29.97, with a 28% fill rate.
The leading actively managed Taiwanese stock ETF, 00981A, has been listed for over a year, with its latest number of beneficiaries reaching 990,000, nearing the one million mark. Today marks the second ex-dividend payout for 00981A since its listing at the end of May last year. It distributed NT$0.63 per unit, a substantial increase from the NT$0.41 distributed in the first quarter of this year.
Today's ex-dividend reference price for 00981A was NT$30.84. During trading, its stock price touched a high of NT$31.28, achieving a 69.84% fill rate.
