Foreign Minister Lin Chia-lung hosted a banquet for them on the 17th, where both sides exchanged views on Taiwan-U.S. economic and trade cooperation and regional situations. Lin Chia-lung thanked the U.S. Congress for its long-term support in strengthening the Taiwan-U.S. partnership and promoting deeper bilateral cooperation.
