[International] Taiwan Men's Gymnastics Team Ranks 5th at Asian Championships, Securing World Championships Spot by a Hair

At the Asian Gymnastics Championships held in Zunyi County, China, the Taiwanese men's team, led by the "five tigers" Tang Chia-hung, Lee Chih-kai, Hung Yuan-hsi, Chuang Chia-lung, and Hsiao Yu-jan, jointly scored 238.762 points, ranking 5th, and successfully secured a spot in this year's World Championships. The team score is calculated by summing the top 3 scores from each apparatus for the athletes competing for each country. Ultimately, the Taiwanese men's team finished with 238.762 points, ranking 5th and narrowly qualifying for the World Championships. Even more thrilling, they won by a mere 0.101 points over Uzbekistan, who ranked 6th. Coach Ashin Leads the Team, Satisfied with the Athletes' Performance Head coach Lin Yu-hsin told reporters, "We received good news on the first day of the competition, which I believe is a great morale booster for the entire team. This Asian Championships selection focused on strengthening individual apparatus. Securing a spot in the World Championships this time is truly a result of each athlete playing to their strengths." In addition to the team's 5th place finish, Hung Yuan-hsi also performed exceptionally well, ranking 7th in the individual all-around with 78.865 points, while Chuang Chia-lung ranked 14th with 76.432 points. The Taiwanese team also achieved good results in the individual apparatus qualifiers.
