The Ministry of Education has completed the construction of a new system and functional optimization for the "Primary and Secondary School International Education Information Network" and, through the "Taiwan Partner School International Matching Platform," has facilitated the registration and use of 2209 domestic schools and 410 foreign schools, promoting the connection of Taiwanese campuses with 16 countries worldwide. The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education of the Ministry of Education pointed out today (22nd) that to enhance the international competitiveness of domestic primary and secondary schools and provide a more user-friendly experience for grassroots schools, this year, the "Primary and Secondary School International Education Information Network" has undergone new system construction and functional optimization. The service functions of the "Taiwan Partner School International Matching Platform" have been strengthened, and through digital transformation, the administrative workflow for each school has been simplified. The English version of the "Primary and Secondary School International Education Information Network" features a main visual of the Taiwan map, adopting a simple, stable, and warm color palette to enhance the information architecture hierarchy. The number of successful matches on the "Taiwan Partner School International Matching Platform" has grown year by year, reaching a cumulative total of 402 matches by 2025, with a presence in 16 countries across Asia, Europe, Oceania, and the Americas, which helps domestic campuses establish international partnerships. The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education mentioned that the platform team also co-organized an online briefing session with Indonesian educational institutions at the end of 2025, successfully opening up the ASEAN market. Currently, 20 Indonesian educational accounts have joined. Additionally, the Chungcheongnam-do Office of Education in South Korea has contacted them to explore cooperation possibilities. In the future, digital platform services will continue to be optimized, and all primary and secondary schools nationwide are welcome to utilize them to increase the frequency and depth of student participation in international interactions.
